Bow Valley Classic I Complete:

Rocky Mountain Show Jumping is pleased to announce the conclusion of the first outdoor show of the season.

The first week of the Bow Valley Classic had record 393 entries compete in all levels in four show rings over a five day period. Mother Nature was very cooperative for the week. We were all treated to beautiful sunshine for the first two days, and then with cool but dry weather for the weekend, with sunshine blessing us for the Cymric Brae Grand Prix. Upon conclusion of the show, the skies opened up with rain....surely to help us keep the footing perfect for the upcoming second week, featuring the $50,000 Oil Patch Grand Prix.

John & Tani Anderson would like to thank everyone who joined them for their first outdoor week of the year. Please feel free to drop them an email with any suggestions or comments that will help them make their tournaments better for you the exhibitor.

Congratulations to all competitors for a great show...it wouldn't have been a success without your participation and cooperation.

Bow Valley Classic II:

Week two of the Bow Valley Classic is set to get underway on Wednesday.

With the cold weather and rain we had last night and today, WE HAVE CANCELLED the schooling rounds on Tuesday in order to preserve the ground for the week. The weather is supposed to break later today, and then be mixed sun and cloud for the week with tempeatures in the mid teens.

Rocky Mountain Show Jumping has plans to upgrade all stabling in the coming year to be completely covered from the elements, but as you know, a project of this magnitude takes time.

We have posted that if you are showing in the Grand Prix ring, you need to be on the grounds 24 hours before your first class. We will relax that rule until Thursday when we expect everything to be dried up.

With over 250 entries joining us for the second week of the Bow Valley Classic, we want to wish all competitors the best of luck.

We are pleased to post a stabling chart and a tentative schedule on our website. Find them by using the following links.
