The program is in its infancy stages, and the items initially listed are just a few of what we will offer in the future as the program grows. 2009 Tournament Dates The dates for the 2009 tournaments have been posted to our website. To see the list of tournaments, and their dates, visit the tournaments in progress page on our website. We will be hosting a full line of tournaments in 2009, and we look forward to seeing you! Developing Riders Tour: 2009 marks the third year one of the Developing Riders Tour, a tour that we believe will help many of the newcomers, and more novice riders of the sport achieve some of their goals. RMSJ Winter Training Series: The first Winter Training Series (jumper version) is set to get underway this coming Friday, January 23, and it looks like Mother Nature is cooperating by taking us out of the deep freeze that has gripped us for the past few weeks. The Prize List and Entry Forms for the 2009 Winter Training Series have been posted to the RMSJ website! As many of you already know, the format of the Winter Training Series changed in 2008. With the growth of the tournaments over the past few years, and the introduction of the ASJA Three and Five Star Series, we will continue with the "Just Hunter", and "Just Jumper" weekends for our exhibitors. We feel that by hosting the Winter Training Series in this fashion, we will be able to service the needs of all of our competitors in a better fashion. To earn Rocky Mountain "Horseshoes," a participant must be a member of the program prior to the start of a RMSJ tournament. Those who sign up at a tournament will begin earning Horseshoes at their next RMSJ event. This is being done to ease the load of the show office staff at an existing event. We would also like to again thank you for all of your support in 2008, and offer a New Year's extension to our sign up offer. Everyone who signs up by January 15th will receive $50 in horseshoes as a thank you and sign up bonus. (Offer good until January 15, 2009)
Much like your airmiles, or aeroplan programs, RMSJ will present Horseshoes to exhibitors for their dollars spent at any of our events. Exhibitors will earn 1/2 of a Horseshoe for every $1.00 spent at any RMSJ event. (Spend $400 at one of our events, and receive 200 horseshoes) These horseshoes will be redeemable at a few select retailers for products, or simply used at Rocky Mountain Show Jumping for all kinds of products and services. Earn horseshoes, and redeem them for free stalls, division entry fee, or even a free Grand Prix entry fee at any of our tournaments. Or, redeem your horseshoes for all kinds of Rocky Mountain Show Jumping clothing and promotional items. Horseshoes will be collected by anyone who signs up to the RMSJ Horseshoes Rewards Program. Members of the program will be able to track their horseshoes (points) online by visiting the Horseshoe Rewards page on our website. VIP plastic credit card type rewards cards, like the one shown above, will be issued to those who frequently attend our tournaments. SAVE MONEY!! ASJA 2009 Membership & Calendar: We thought we would send a note to remind all Alberta competitors to renew their ASJA membership for 2009. As most of you know, the ASJA introduced the Five & Three Star Series in 2007. The series does require a declaration by ASJA members. Please take a few minutes to fill out your 2009 ASJA membership, online. You will be emailed a membership number, along with declaration instructions for the ASR and the Three & Five Star Series.which will be yours forever Remember, all RMSJ tournaments are a part of the ASJA Star Series, and points will not be counted towards the year end champiuonships, unless you are an ASJA member and have declared yourself as a Three or Five Star rider.
