RMSJ (Super Bowl Version) Winter Training Series:
The first Winter Training Series (hunter version) concluded just moments befor the start of the Super Bowl XLIII between the Arizona Cardinals, and the Pitsburgh Steelers. (A relief to many of the dads in the stands) We were glad to see that some competitors chose to remain and are enjoying the game and rocking out to Bruce Springsteen on the RMSJ 12' by 12' screen in the arena. Again, because it was the first hunter tournament, it was a busy weekend for everyone keen on signing up for their Horseshoes rewards card, as well as their ASJA memberships. We would like to thank all of you who expressed your support of the new ASJA memberships needed for Alberta residents competing at ASJA sanctioned 3 & 5 star events. It is great to see the enthusiasm about the 3 & 5 star series, after the successful conclusion to the 2008 season. The Prize List and Entry Forms for the 2009 Winter Training Series are posted on the RMSJ website! The entries close tomorrow Monday February 9th for the second of the Winter Training Series (jumper version) set to commence on Friday February 13th. Don't forget to earn Rocky Mountain "Horseshoes," a participant must be a member of the program prior to the start of a RMSJ tournament. Those who sign up at a tournament will begin earning Horseshoes at their next RMSJ event. BONUS Do your entries online, and on time, and earn $10 in Rocky Mountain Horseshoes!
