Winter Training Series III (Hunter Version) April 4-5:

The final of the RMSJ Winter Training Series of the hunter variety in 2009 will take place next weekend. Entries for the tournament do close today, and all of the pertinent information is available on the RMSJ website. The overall champions in the hunter divisions of the Winter Training Series will be crowned upon conclusion of the competition next weekend.

2009 Bow Valley Classics:

The 2009 editions of the Bow Valley Classics are just 6 weeks away. As with all of our tournaments, the prize lists will be available about one month before entries closing date. Look for the prize list to be posted to our website next week, with the closing date for entries to be April 30th.

One change so far has been made to the Bow Valley Classics. The first Classic was scheduled to run on the 13th -17th of Maw, but was pushed back one day to finish on the 18th. We did this to help all of those with the school or work issue, as the Monday is a holiday.

Both Bow Valley Classics will be hosting Alberta Select Riders trials for each division, and we will make sure that none of the trials fall on a school or work day for our exhibitors. Look for the Bow Valley Classic information next week.

The information provided on this site is compiled and maintained by Jayne Huddleston. As a journalist, researcher and publicist, Jayne has covered more international show jumping events than any other Canadian journalist. Over the last 25 years, she has been a photo-journalist, a member of a major network television crew and a publicist to some of Canada's most successful Olympic riders.

She maintains one of the largest databases of show jumping information in the world. She is often consulted by international sport organizations and international media. Her database, including the kind of statistics contained in the season performance records on this site, once led to her being retained as an expert witness in a civil lawsuit involving show jumpers. She currently operates JH Media, specializing in media relations training.
